  • Stressors & Self-Care

    Understand stress and what happens when we have difficulty coping with and managing stress. Receive information needed to care for ourselves in all areas of our lives.

    Are you feeling tension in mind, body, and spirit? Feeling burdened, sad, overwhelmed, tired, frustrated, or maybe numb? Participants will learn about the components of stress and receive information to examine stress in all areas of life: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

  • Stress & Self-Care: Ways to Nurture Ourselves (3-Part Session)

    An in-depth review of understanding stress, ways it impedes coping, and stress management. Receive information needed to care for ourselves in all areas of our lives using tips and implementing strategies.

    The Art of Self-Care involves learning to nurture ourselves and focus on our well-being. During three sessions, participants will review their understanding of stress, components of stress, and hindrances to coping. Learn effective stress management strategies. Examine how stress affects physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Assess your stress and create a stress-coping plan.

  • Coping, Self-Care & the Holiday Season

    Explore areas of stress and receive information needed to care for ourselves in all areas of our lives. Discuss the impact of stress, social expectations, and traditions, especially during the holidays.

    Participants will explore ways the holiday season and special occasions can affect how we handle stress. We will review areas of stress in all areas of our lives: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Understand social expectations and traditions, learn how they impact us, and review coping methods and self-care.

  • Compassion Fatigue: Caregiver Stress & Burnout (2-Part Session)

    Explore the significance of self-care while caring for others. Receive information on barriers in focusing on our own self-care and stressors in "doing it right."

    Changes in our lives and responsibilities as caregivers may leave us feeling fearful, worried, and tired due to a lack of energy and motivation. Caregivers tend to care for others and neglect their own self-care needs. Participants will gain insight into coping as a caregiver during difficult and stressful situations. Explore the concept of "compassion fatigue." Caregivers will learn how to recognize stress, signs of burnout, how stress affects them, and the results of burnout.

  • Living a Balanced Life

    Examine levels of stress and coping. Explore strategies for coping and creating ways to live a balanced life.

    Are you wondering how to care for yourself in all areas of your life? Participants will examine various sources of stress and ways to cope. We will assess stress and whether coping strategies are effective for living a balanced life. Participants will review activities for long-term balance by exploring and creating a self-care plan.
