Faith & Sensitivity

-
Becoming a Welcoming & Inclusive Community
Explore learned behaviors as they relate to inclusivity. Identify influences and influencers and create ways to welcome others.
Opinions and judgments often create barriers to building relationships. Participants will closely examine aspects that influence our way of thinking and actions. We will explore meaning vs. reality and the significance of our experiences and behaviors.

Who's At The Table: Why Is The Chair Empty?
Review racial inequalities, injustice, and bias. Identify actions of marginalization and ways our thinking is informed. Explore ways to change or navigate within learned behaviors.
The table often represents a place where people gather to enjoy a meal and time for fellowship. We will closely examine the reasons why others are not invited or feel welcome to sit at the table, thus leaving an empty chair(s). Asking, “Who is missing at the table?” is for us to examine who is missing from our church, organization, or community.

Strategic Planning (2-Part Session)
Develop or review your church or organization's vision and mission to create aligned goals.
Does your church or organization feel stagnant? Are you questioning or wondering whether your entity is still relevant today and if it will be in the next 3-5 years? Is it time to examine how you are demonstrating your community's goals?
During this two-part session, participants will explore and define a present-day vision and a vision for the future and create a list of doable goals with attainable objectives for their organization, church, or group.
